All Mortal Shell II Weapons, Sidearms and Seals

Mortal Shell II (also written Mortal Shell 2), the soulslike from developer Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack released on August 20, 2026, arms players with 8 obtainable melee weapons, a separate list of 8 sidearms, and 4 seals. Each melee weapon has its own moveset and a unique Weapon Ability that consumes Resolve, and official store copy promises 'deeper weapon design with extensive upgrade options.' Weapon databases list 10 entries in total: the 8 obtainable melee weapons plus Fists and the Hallowed Sword, two special entries that do not count toward the Lord of War achievement, which requires finding every weapon and is joined by a separate trophy for each weapon obtained individually. No weapon is missable — everything can still be collected in free roam after the final boss, before choosing to enter New Game+. Maps marking the approximate location of each weapon can be purchased from the merchant Merrick in Marrow Keep. The 8 sidearms are ranged and special off-hand arms — the Troubadour's Lute among them — tracked on their own list, while the 4 seals complete the loadout. Upgrades work through reforging, which sharpens each weapon's damage and scaling. Named abilities such as Deadly Flurry, Spiral Surge, Needle Storm, Plummet Strike and Clockwork Chainsaw are drawn from open-beta interface text and are not confirmed for the release build; per-weapon infusion notes below follow FightinCowboy's community weapon guide (auto-transcribed subtitles).

The Iconoclast

Exceptionally light for a two-hander, it was once held by a seedbearer of great renown. It is obtained in the Prologue area of Undermether and serves as the starting weapon, and it is one of two weapons with access to the Curse status. Named ability: Plummet Strike.

Axe and Dagger

An unusual pairing of a simple thieve's tool and a vicious axe from the northern lands. Found at the end of the Shrine of Trials, entered with the Chapel Key from the Mushroom Village area (the key sits behind an illusory archway beside a statue near the village's southern arch), it is one of two dual-wield weapons that can take the Duality Tarstone, which turns each hit into a double strike. Named ability: Deadly Flurry.

Great Martyr's Blade

The devout weapon of the First Martyr Tarsus, reforged after his final sacrifice. Located in the Martyr's Prison in Gloomshade Grove, it is the only weapon with access to the Frost infusion. Game Rant calls it underrated, singling out its running heavy attack as one of the strongest in the game. Named ability: Spiral Surge.

Veteran's Battle Axe

This solid steel axe is rumored to have been quenched in the blood of the Revered. Found in the King's Crypt, reached through Black Ridge Pass, it is the only weapon with access to a permanent burn infusion. Game Rant's tier list ranks it the best heavy weapon in the game.

Obsidian Hammer

A brutalist chunk of obsidianite, profaned by bloodshed beyond the Seat of Infinity. Obtained by clearing the obsidianite mines southwest of Mammon's outskirts, it is the only weapon that can use the Trauma infusion and one of two that can use Stasis, which slows enemies until they cannot fight back.

Clockwork Scythe

The ambitious instrument of a madman or a genius, perhaps he was in fact both. Obtained by clearing the Chamber of Becoming in Silent Steps, its signature ability — a chainsaw mode that augments every attack — is named Clockwork Chainsaw. The Scholar's Wormstone variant consumes Resolve over time to keep the chainsaw spinning.

Axatana

Forged by an unrepentant smith, this exquisite weapon once bore the name 'Dream Thresher.' It is picked up in a tower in the southern regions after defeating an enemy who wields it, with no boss gating it. It is one of two weapons with access to the Duality Tarstone.

Black Needle

Stolen from the Twiceborn, this spear enables the bearer to reach further and more quickly than seems physically plausible. Obtained from the Twiceborn encounter at the end of Sester's Bastion, it is the only weapon with access to the Phantom infusion. Named ability: Needle Storm.
