Community performance notes
An early PC optimization guide (published August 17, 2026 by a third-party channel) tested settings on the release build. These are third-party findings, not official statements:
- Shader compilation runs at first launch, and some occasional stuttering can remain.
- In the guide's testing, Hardware Ray Tracing did not appear to work and was recommended left disabled.
- TSR upscaling showed noticeable shimmering in the guide's tests; the guide recommended moving away from the in-game TSR and FSR 3 upscaling when performance allowed.
- A texture streaming issue near some terrain was reported at Ultra quality; High was recommended at 8 GB VRAM.
Not confirmed or unknown
- Final release system requirements — not officially published (the beta specs above are beta-only).
- Official Steam Deck verification.
- The UE5 engine designation — third-party record only.
