Mortal Shell II erschien am 20. August 2026 auf PS5, zusammen mit PC (Steam) und Xbox. Die offizielle Ankündigung bestätigt, dass das Spiel "now available digitally worldwide on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox." Der 72-stündige Advance Access der Devout Edition lief vom 17. August 2026, und der kostenlose Eintrag "Open Beta" im PlayStation Store ist nicht mehr aktiv.

Mortal Shell II is a standalone sequel to Mortal Shell that significantly expands on the original with faster and unforgiving combat, deeper weapon design with extensive upgrade options, and an emphasis on free exploration within a compact open-world.

PS5-Preis und Editionen

Laut PlayStation Store: "Mortal Shell II: Devout Edition features the base game as well as an exclusive Obsidian skin set for all eight playable Shells." Das Devout-Upgrade-Add-on ist rein kosmetisch, und die Preise entsprechen den Xbox- und Steam-Stores.
